The conventional bolt solid plate teeth overlap with the plate edges to provide additional retention for the thin belt.The belt solid plate fasteners run smoothly on both sides through the conveyor pulleys, the discharge scraper, and the arched tightening wheels.
All solid plate fastener drums have pre-assembled bolt bottom plates that utilize our patented system, which includes special thin metal washers to secure the bolts to the bottom plate during installation of the belt fasteners.
This has proven to be superior to the use of plastic nylon washers, which can slide along the bolt threads.
